Canine Corners Dog Park

Whether you’re looking to get your hound some quality playtime or simply want to socialize, the Canine Corners Dog Park is sure to please. The park is located inside Harry Griffen Regional Park in La Mesa, California. It’s open 7:00 am – dusk, and is a great place to let your pups unwind from a long day at the office.

In addition to the dog park, Harry Griffen is home to a number of other attractions including horseshoes, a walking-hiking trail and playground. The park is also home to the aforementioned “Pooch in the Park” fun dog show, which is a fun competition between dog owners and their pets. The aforementioned contest is free for humans and $20 for dogs, and takes place on the same day as the dog park, allowing participants to romp around with their pooches in a smorgasbord of fun.

Canine Corners is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation, and is not funded by the city of La Mesa. The park is open 7am – dusk, and is ADA accessible. The park’s most impressive features include three fenced areas, which are suitable for dogs of all sizes.

Amphitheater

The park also boasts several other attractions, including the Canine Corners Dog Park. The park features three separate fenced areas for dogs of various sizes, as well as several shaded areas. Besides the dog park, the park also offers an off-leash dog run, a jogging path, and a dog-friendly equestrian center. It is not surprising, then, that many dog lovers take their canine pals on a stroll along the trails in this venerable park.

While the amphitheater is the star of the show, the park does offer several other perks including a well-kept lawn and a grassy park adjacent to Grossmont High School’s football fields. Reservoir

Located in the San Diego County of California, La Mesa is a larger medium sized city with a population of 60,000. This quaint city is surrounded by rolling hills and tree-lined streets. The climate here is warm and sunny all year round. There are several parks in the area.

Another popular event is the Back to the ’50s Car Show, which occurs every Thursday night from June through August. This event is held in the La Mesa Village along La Mesa Boulevard. This event is free and open to the public.
